The long awaited dream of Mr Bilal Lallmahomed, famous local Ghazal Singer, to have his own Ghazal album, has successfully been materialised in February 2020. To launch his Cd entiltled “Khazeena”, the USU organised a Mehfil-e-Ghazal at Serge Constantin Theatre on Friday 28th February 2020. Mr. Abdool Raouf Bundhun, Former Vice President of the Republic of Mauritius, Mr Shehzad A.Ahmed, Chairman Urdu Speaking Union, Mr. Zahid Khan Jatoi, Actng High Commissioner of Pakistan, Mr. Ankush Kapoor, First Secretary, High Commission of India, His Worship, Mr Mahfooz Moosa Cadersaib, Lord Mayor of Port Louis, members of USU amongst others were present on the occasion.
