The Annual Urdu Competitions organised jointly by Urdu Speaking Union and the National Urdu Institute at national level was held on 25th March, 26th March and 2nd of April 2019. Competitions namely Poem Recitation, Penmanship & Essay Writing for primary level and Story Telling Sketch, Dialogue Conversation, Essay Writing, Live Radio Interview and Bait Bazi for secondary level were held at the Islamic Cultural Centre, Port Louis and Shrimati Indira Gandhi SSS, Quartier Militaire. Altogether, around 450 students took part this year.
