The event organized by the MBC in our collaboration was for male above 15 years this year and was launched on Friday 10th February 2017. A total number of 120 entries were received. Members of the jury were Mufti Asif Raza Barkati Misbahi (Khateeb-o-Imam at Sunni Razvi Awliya Masjid, Port Louis), Qari Mohammad Madani Al-Hussaini (Imam and Teacher of Tajweed-o-Qirat at Masjid Al Aqsa, Plaine Verte, P.Louis) and Imam Ackbar Idris Allymamod (Imam at Madrassa Gharib Nawaz, Triolet). Audition was held on Saturday 25th February 2017 at the MBC. 40 Candidates were selected for the preliminaries.
