Naatkhwaan Alhaj Qari Wasif Raza Noori, from Mumbai, sponsored by the ICCR, Government of India, was our chief guest this year. Many programmes were scheduled across the island between 4th to 21st February 2012. The official celebration was held on Sunday 5th February 2012 at Aleemiah College. A naat programme was also organised at Indira Gandhi Centre for Indian Culture, Phoenix and on Wednesday 15th February 2012, he performed at the seat of the USU.
