The Annual Urdu Competitions organised jointly by Urdu Speaking Union and the National Urdu Institute at national level was held between 20th to 28th March 2012. Competitions namely Story telling & Essay Writing for primary level; Dictation, Sketch, Letter Writing & Bait Bazi for secondary level and Elocution for Tertiary level were held at the Islamic Cultural Centre, Port Louis and Shrimati Indira Gandhi SSS, Quartier Militaire. Altogether, around 600 students took part this year.
