Reknown Naatkhwaan Habibullah Faizi from India, sponsored by the ICCR, Government of India, was our chief guest this year. Many programmes were scheduled across the island between 14th to 27th February 2011. The official celebration was held on Wednesday 16th February 2011 at Aleemiah College. On Saturday 26th February 2011, he performed his last programme during his stay at Indira Gandhi Centre for Indian Culture organized by the Urdu Speaking Union in collaboration with the Municipal Council of Vacoas/Phoenix and the High Commission of India.
